1. for FRIDAY, January 11th, read and take notes in BIG RED:
Create a "plan" for an analytical essay on The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. Consider creating a rough outline,nothing formal. Bullet points are fine. I am looking to see a CLEAR THESIS statement that controls the essay's direction and exploration. If not topic sentences, I expect to see evidence of how each paragraph will be developed. Quotations are not necessary for this "plan." Here is link to the power point we reviewed in class about the Structure of an Essay that might be useful when you begin to organize your ideas and develop them.
