- Complete vocabulary exercises for unit G-7.
- Read part 1 of A Lost Lady for a chautauqua on March 3rd. See attached document. PLEASE NOTE: try to keep track of the total time it takes you to read part 1.
- Write a "nature" poem. Use ONE of your "nature journal" entries as the basis for the poem. Dehydrate it by removing all the unnecessary words. Focus on the essence of the entry. Use strong verbs. Create images with carefully chosen diction (a la Emily Dickinson). Give it a title. Bring hard copies of the nature journal narrative entry you used as the basis of the poem and attach a hard copy of the poem derived from it.
