When considering English classes for next year, consult the attached description of NEW classes NOT in the Program of Studies which are 1/2 credit towards graduation, but NOT English credits. Be prepared to inform me of your preferences for English courses. You need to take one of the college writing courses; which one is dependent on your PSAT or SAT writing score. Higher than 45/450 on the PSAT/SAT writing section is required to take the Accelerated College Writing. Below 44/440 you be be placed in the Academic college Writing course.
If you are interested in taking UCONN English (1.0 credit) or the "new" UCONN American Studies (.5 credit), other requirements must be met. SEE me.
